    Our instructors and programs are NATEF certified (National Automotive Technicians Education Foundation) providing hands-on, real-world auto body shop experience. The content includes, but is not limited to, basic trade skills; refinishing skills; sheet metal repair skills; frame and unibody squaring and aligning; use of fillers; paint systems and undercoats; related welding skills; related mechanical skills; trim-hardware maintenance; glass servicing; and other miscellaneous repairs, and safe, efficient work practices. Business partner involvement, field trip participation, SkillsUSA activities and competitions, and NATEF and ASE industry certification opportunities offer students immediate access to a rewarding auto collision and repair career.

     

    Automotive Maintenance and Light Repair

    Our instructors and programs are NATEF certified (National Automotive Technicians Education Foundation) providing hands-on, real-world automotive maintenance and light repair shop experience. This all honors- weighted program explores career opportunities and requirements of a professional service technician. Students will study tools, equipment, shop operations, basic engine fundamentals, and basic technician skills and safety requirements. Instruction will also include use of technical and flat rate manuals and a variety of hand tools, disassembly, inspection and repair, replacement of parts, engine overhaul, repair of ignition systems, emission control systems, fuel systems, brakes, transmissions and running gear and installation and service of electronic diagnostic test equipment. Business partner involvement, field trip participation, SkillsUSA activities and competitions, and NATEF and ASE industry certification opportunities offer students immediate access to a rewarding automotive career and/or foundation for advanced training.
