Hurricane Michael Weather Updates

Clay County District Schools Weather Update #3 (October 10, 5:35 p.m.): Clay County District Schools and Offices will be open on Thursday, October 11. All after school activities will resume as normal.
Clay County District Schools Weather Update #2 (October 9, 4:15 p.m.): CCDS and Offices will be open for business on Wednesday; however, out of an abundance of caution, ALL after school activities will be canceled for Wednesday, October 10th, except for YMCA’s After School Program. 
Clay County District Schools Weather Update #1 (October 9, 2:30 p.m.):
According to the latest National Weather Service briefing, Clay County will likely feel minimal impacts from Hurricane Michael. Current reports confirm that the rain event should be minimal across our district. Of course, hurricane weather can bring strong winds and tornadic activity, so we will continue to stay alert and closely monitor all weather conditions.
With the latest information from the National Weather Service, Clay County District Schools does not anticipate closing schools or district offices. Additionally, all after school activities will continue unless otherwise directed. Please know that our first priority is the safety of our students and staff at all times. We will continue to work closely with local law enforcement and the Emergency Operations Center for updates and changing conditions.
