Summer Reading Camp Overview
-
For Rising K-5th Grade Students.
In an effort to ensure rising Kindergartners, Kindergartners, 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade students have every opportunity to close achievement gaps by building foundational reading skills, Clay County District Schools will be offering a face-to-face Summer Reading Camp. Students will be selected based on a set of criteria that will include district and state assessment data, teacher recommendation and classroom performance.
Students that have been identified for this opportunity will be notified by their school. Letters will be sent out to parents via their email accounts in ParentVUE Synergy. Parents will need to complete the Summer Reading Camp Intent Form embedded in the notification letter to secure their child's enrollment in the program. If you have any further questions, please contact your child's school.
