Title I is a federal grant designed to provide supplemental reading and math instruction in eligible elementary schools. Elementary schools may receive funds for this instruction if 75% or more of the attending students qualify for the Free and Reduced Lunch Program. Once funds are distributed to a school, any student with an academic need may participate in the Title I program.
