Clay County Schools Celebrates American Founders' Month

Clay County District Schools is participating in patriotic activities this month including Constitution Day and Celebrate Freedom Week!

Clerk Tara Green will be presenting information about the U.S. Constitution to junior high and high school students during the week of the 16th. In addition, there is a public display in the main Clay County Courthouse entrance lobby in Green Cove Springs that highlights the U.S. Constitution and 6th Amendment rights throughout the month of September. Families are welcome to stop by any time during normal courthouse hours (M-F, 8am-5pm) to see the display and to pick up their own pocket-size U.S. Constitution. As always, public tours of both the main Clay County Courthouse and also the 1890 Historic Courthouse are available by appointment by calling the Clerk’s Office at 904-269-6337.
