STEAM Program

  • Students and robotics

STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Mathematics) is Lake Asbury Junior High School’s map to a successful academic experience for all of its students. Learning in a STEAM environment, coupled with an innovative Project-Based Learning (PBL) approach and a strong foundation in literacy, sets the stage for students to solve real-world problems while reaching their highest academic potential. Students are taught with an interdisciplinary approach with an emphasis on the design thinking process and problem solving leading to the application. This allows LAJH students to develop skills such as critical thinking, collaboration, communication, and creativity.

  • We are excited to annouce Orange Park Junior High School is currently taking steps to become the districts first pre-IB junior high school.
