Congratulations to Fantasia James from the Oakleaf Girls Basketball team on being this week's Southeast Orthopedic Specialists and Preferred Physical Therapy Athlete of The Week! Fantasia scored 33 points vs. Lee in a 56-33 victory in the semi final game and scored 25 points in Clay High Holiday Tournament Championship game in 80-52 win vs. Ponte Vedra. Scored 58 points in 2 games at Clay Holiday Tournament which OHS won. Congratulations Fantasia!

This week's Preferred Physical Therapy Fleming Island/Southeast Orthopedic Specialists Athlete of The Week is Sam Singleton from Fleming Island High School Football! Sam ran for 4 touchdowns for a total of 274 yards last week (School Record)vs. Atlantic Coast. The win put the Golden Eagles in the Regional Championship which is tonight at HOME vs. Niceville at 7pm. Congratulations Sam!

Week of November 2nd - November 6th, 2020: Emma Grimm
This week's Athlete of The Week is Emma Grimm from the Fleming Island Swim Team! Emma won the district championship in the 50 free, 100 breaststroke, 200 girls medley relay, and 200 girls free relay! She also is a member of the Regional Champion and defending State Champion 200 Medley Relay Team. Congratulations Emma! Week of October 19th-October 23rd, 2020: Chase Carroll
This week's Clay County Athlete of the Week is Chase Carroll from the Middleburg Boys Golf Program! Chase was the medalist for the District Tournament with a score of 73 and then won the FHSAA Regional Tournament with a score of 69 this week! He heads to the FHSAA State Tournament next week! This week's Athlete of The Week is Al'querious Ray from Clay High School Football! "Q" had 20 carries for 243 yards with 3 Touchdowns in the Blue Devils win over West Nassau last week. He also is currently ranked 2nd in the State of Florida in Class 5A in rushing. Congratulations! We would like to congratulate the Clay County Athlete of the Week: Eddie Whipple from Ridgeview Panthers Athletics! Eddie scored three TD's in Ridgeview's victory over Orange Park Friday, October 2. Eddie has scored 8 total touchdowns this season in leading the Panthers to a 3-1 overall record. Congratulations Eddie! Congratulations to the Clay County Athlete of The Week: Jenna Sypniewski from Middleburg High School Volleyball! Jenna helped lead the Broncos over a really good Providence team last week. Jenna also helped earn a 2nd place finish in the JJVA tournament this weekend, which is the best tournament in the area. While doing so, Jenna was selected to the River City Classic All-Tournament team too. Week of September 14th-18th, 2020: Emma Millson
Congratulations to Fleming Island Cross Country's Senior Emma Millson on becoming the first ever @OneClaySports Athlete of The Week presented by Preferred Physical Therapy and Southeast Orthopedic Specialists! Emma ran a 19:38.57 to open the season at the Oakleaf Meet which was good for 1st place overall. At the 19 team field in Ponte Vedra's Craig Spezial Invitational, Emma ran a 19:51 to finish 4th out of 137 competitors. Way to go Emma!
